1 = 1/4 yd.    2 = 1/2 yd.    3 = 3/4 yd.    4 = 1 yard.    etc.

Quilting cotton is highly recommended because of its DURABILITY and BREATHABILITY.

Quilting cotton is considered a mid-weight cotton which has a much closer, more even weave than most other cotton fabric helping it to handle multiple washings which is why it is preferred for everyday quilts, linens and some clothing.
